Directions to 1048A Colvard South (UNC Charlotte Urban Institute)

When entering the campus from Highway 49, you will approach a fork in the road, go to the left and continue down until you see a statue of a miner panning for gold. Behind the miner, you will see two buildings. Colvard South on you right, directly across from the lake, (building where the Urban Institute is located) and the Reese building on you left.

At this point, you must turn left to continue to the parking deck. Continue down until you see the parking deck on your right. (Second entrance on right, about a block) (Cone Deck 1, located between buildings 18 and 22 on the University map) Turn right and then left into the first entrance to the parking deck. Get a parking ticket from the machine when entering the deck. Go up to the top level (reserved for visitor parking. (You will receive a parking token from the Urban Institute to cover the cost of parking on campus)

After parking your vehicle, go down to the street level.

At this point, you will be at the lower level of the Cone Center (building 22 on the map). Continue walking toward the building with the stairs attached (Reese building, item 26 on the University map).

While remaining outside, continue walking straight ahead and go up the stairs of the connected to the Reese building. When you get at the top of the stairs, you will see directly ahead of you Colvard South where the Urban Institute is located. (Colvard South, building 3 on the University map). Continue walking straight ahead and enter the building.

Upon entering the building, you will immediately walk up the first flight of stairs and go through door at the top of the stairs. Continue walking straight ahead and you will find us in suite 1048A, which is the 3rd door on left.
