Objectives

• To carry out high quality, practical, scholarly, multidisciplinary research

• To facilitate productive collaboration among researchers from a variety of disciplines

• To address issues that are relevant and timely in such a way that the Center can make a difference in the development of policy involving transportation systems and services

• To conduct research on topics that affect, in a productive manner, future transportation and regional/statewide investments

• To conduct research in such a way as to affect development and promote positive social change within the state and region

• To actively disseminate research findings and conclusions to both professional audiences and to public and private policy-makers

• To form an effective, working partnership among the university, local and state governments, and private sector stakeholders in our transportation system
